28 May, 2015 New Program Targets Renewal of Community Facilities
The federal government has issued a call for applications to the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program. The new fund, managed by Western Diversification, will deliver $46.2 million over two years to communities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba for the rehabilitation of existing community facilities. Eligible recipients include local governments and First Nations. The closing date for applications is June 17th, 1:00 pm PST.

19 May, 2015 New LED Streetlight Replacement Program Underway In Cranbrook
CRANBROOK - Work is now underway to upgrade 357 streetlights in the City of Cranbrook to light-emitting diode (LED) fixtures as part of Phase 1 of its streetlight replacement program. Over the next month, fixtures located on standalone metal poles, primarily along main corridors within municipal boundaries, are being replaced through this project.
